Everton’s u21s will take on Real Madrid’s Castilla at Goodison Park and fans can now get tickets for the International Premier Cup clash.
Season Ticket Members, Premium Members, Forever Blue+ and Forever Blue Members can claim a free ticket and other general sale tickets cost £3 for juniors and £5 for adults. You can buy them here.
The match will kick off at 7pm on Wednesday 3 December.
The club has opened up the Family Enclosure of Goodison Park for the tie but says it would consider opening the Park End if there is demand for tickets.
Everton will play Real Madrid in the opening game of the Premier League International Cup group stage after qualifying via their position in the Premier League 2 last year. The club will also face PSV, RB Leipzig and Monaco in home games in the tournament that pits the u21s against Europe’s best sides.
The tournament features eight Premier League u21 sides but none will face each other until the round of 16, with all Premier League sides playing at home in the group stage of the tournament.
The Premier League 2 International Cup was first introduced in 2014/15 and took a two-year break during COVID lockdown in the UK. Premier League sides Manchester City, Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest have all won the trophy, as well as PSV and Bayern Munich.
Everton’s Goodison Park has been chosen by the u21s to host the Real Madrid game. The team had previously played at Southport’s Haig Avenue but moved to Walton Hall Park this year, with the option to hold key games at the home of Everton Women.
Fans who have not yet visited Goodison Park since the emotional game against Southampton at the end of last season will find the ground looking very different. The upper tiers will be closed and all seats have now been removed from the Top Balcony and parts of the Gwladys Street stands. The ground also has new exterior banners celebrating the women’s team, who have moved in as their home ground.
