Everton’s new ‘Cambridge Blue’ heritage kit has been revealed by the club in a teaser video launched this evening.
The kit will go on sale tomorrow (Friday 9 May) here and the club has revealed the first couple of glimpses in a video that also features former striker Duncan Ferguson.
The video, released on the club’s social media, gives a small glimpse of a fan wearing the shirt at the beginning. The shirt, seen from the back is ‘Cambridge Blue’ – a light blue shade first worn by the club in their first season at Goodison Park.
At the end of the video the badge and shirt colour is fully revealed. It uses the classic ‘EFC’ badge used on previous heritage Everton shirts and used by the club from 1920 until the now familiar Prince Rupert’s Tower design was launched in 1938.
The club has confirmed the shirt will not be used in a game but will be a ‘heritage’ fan shirt sold by retail partner Fanatics.
It will launch on 9 May and prices have not been revealed yet for the limited edition shirt.
