Everton kit supplier Castore has launched a Goodison Park commemorative range on the eve of the Merseyside derby.
The new ‘Echoes of an Era’ collection has launched today and features a shirt, jacket and mid-layer shirt, features a blueprint-style pattern of Goodison Park and features inspired by St Luke’s Church, the Park End gates and the Bullens Road stand.
A key feature of the design is the famous Archibald Leitch pattern that adorns the Bullens Road stand. The criss-cross pattern appears on several of Leitch’s stadium designs and has become an iconic feature of Goodison Park.
The shirt is described as ‘Cambridge Blue’, which was the colour Everton first wore at Goodison Park in the inaugural season of 1892. The club wore the colour before switching to Royal Blue in 1901.
The shirt is priced at £60 for adults, and £55 for women and children, and features the traditional club badge and unpopular sponsor, Stake. The ‘anthem jacket’ costs £85 for adults while the ‘mid-layer’ is priced at £70.
It is the first commemorative range to be released by Castore in Goodison Park’s final season and the Everton website says a number of the items are already low in stock. You can shop the collection here.
