Everton's Bramley Moore Dock Stadium

Everton secure alcohol licence for Bramley Moore Stadium

Stephen Hurrell, March 13, 2025March 13, 2025

Everton have secured an alcohol and entertainment licence for Bramley Moore Stadium.

The club applied for a licence to hold events inside and outside Bramley Moore Stadium and asked Liverpool City Council for permission to serve alcohol inside the ground and in the Fan Plaza. The license has now been granted according to listings on the council website.

The licence allows Everton to hold events until as late as 3am in the stadium, although the Fan Plaza will be cleared by 11.30pm. Live music can be played inside the stadium until 3am and outside in the Fan Plaza until 11pm. The club hopes to hold music events of up to 20,000 people in the Fan Plaza, using the stadium toilet and bar facilities to host outdoor concerts.

However, Everton will need to apply for additional licences for concerts within the stadium if it intends to use the pitch.

The club will be able to sell alcohol in the Fan Plaza and stadium from 9am but the club has not yet named a designated person to supply alcohol. This is essential as the club is not allowed to serve alcohol until a Designated Premises Supervisor is appointed.

For Goodison Park stadium and the ‘Farewell to Goodison’ three day concert in May and June, the designated supervisor are employees of current food and drink partner Sodexo. It means the Bramley Moore supervisor is likely to be an employee of Aramark, which will supply the food and drinks services as a founding partner of the new stadium.

Fans will now face a wait to see if a supervisor is named before the second test event at Bramley Moore on 23 March, when 25,000 fans will attend to watch an u21 game at the stadium.
