Everton seek stadium financing expert as Bramley Moore set to transform club

Stephen Hurrell, May 8, 2025

Everton are advertising for a Head of Stadium Financing to help with its ‘ambitious plans’ for Bramley Moore Stadium as the club’s revenue outlook is set to be drastically overhauled.

The club is searching for a finance expert to run the financial aspects of Bramley Moore Stadium including day-to-day accounting, budgeting and forecasting of revenues.

The role will be critical in managing the stadium’s budget and ensuring top class music and corporate events can supercharge Everton’s revenue.

Bramley Moore is estimated to add up to £70m a season in revenue for Everton. The increased capacity of 53,000 will add extra ticket revenue, while corporate seats make up around 5,000 of the stadium’s overall capacity. The most expensive of those, the Loge seating in the West Stand, sell for £25,000 per seat, while even the ‘Village Street’ seats in the West Stand can cost up to £7,500 per season.

Everton will also add concert revenue – which can reach up to £1m per gig – as well as other events such as the Rugby League Ashes series set for 1 November and corporate events. The club has confirmed the first of those when it hosts Downtown in Business during the Labour Party Conference in the city.

The new Head of Stadium Financing will be tasked with budgeting for these events and maximising revenue. The club says the role will: “provide regular updates on the stadium’s progress and finances to senior management and the board of directors.”

The club says two key functions of the role include: “Managing the stadium’s capital expenditure program, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and long-term financial goals.”

A second will be: “Developing and maintaining detailed budgets and regularly reporting on performance against these metrics.”

The club is looking for somebody with experience of working with football clubs and the role will be based at Everton’s offices in the Royal Liver Building.
