Everton fans waiting for the new Everton 2025/26 kit may not have to wait long after the Manchester-based supplier began its kit launch season early.
Despite losing the likes of Leverkusen and Sevilla from its range of clubs Castore has launched the new Feyenoord kit an entire month earlier than last year’s version.
The new Feyenoord kit also gives a few design hints about the next generation of Castore kits and highlights the price structure the brand is likely to charge for the new Everton shirt.
The simple half and half shirt has a standard round neck collar similar to Everton’s current home shirt but adds some gold detailing around the Castore logo and badge. Priced at around £85 for the short sleeve shirt, it hints at similar prices for the new Everton home kit.
The new Everton kit is expected to be revealed in the first few weeks of June in keeping with Castore’s tradition of launching kits from clubs in the middle of multi-year deals in the first 10 days of the month. In previous years the Rangers, Newcastle and Aston Villa Castore kit launches all took place before 10 June.
A kit design has already been leaked and in keeping with Castore designs this year it is a simple Royal Blue all over with a subtle ‘wave’ pattern throughout. The only other design flair is the asymmetrical collar, which is reminiscent of Everton’s 1987 home kit.
Given the brand’s strategy to launch kits on a Wednesday or Thursday it could mean the Everton home shirt is available as early as next week (3 or 4 June).
Everton’s first ever Castore kit was in July and it seems clubs who are new to the brand usually get a later kit launch. Last year was also Feyenoord’s first ever kit with Castore and that meant a later launch date in July.
Castore has already launched the new England rugby shirt – the first time the national team is using the brand after replacing Umbro as the main supplier. The marketing for the shirt feature giant Castore wings appearing behind the players with the Red Bull-esque tagling ‘England Just Got Wings’.
The rugby shirt tells us Castore is not finished with placing its own logo wherever possible on official club merch, even to the point of dominating the club badge itself as it has on Everton’s training gear this summer.
Castore also has the rights to produce the Huddersfield Town shirts and is expected to sign a deal to become Middlesbrough kits, replacing Errea as the club’s supplier from 2025/26.
