Castore has revealed a surprise design for Everton’s third kit for the 2025/26 season.
Early leaks suggested the predominantly black shirt would feature yellow and blue patterns based on Liverpool’s famous ‘dazzle ship’ ferry, which itself is an homage to wartime ships that used a series of unorthodox patterns to ‘dazzle’ enemy ships and make it more difficult to see which direction they were travelling.
However, new leaks suggest Castore has dropped the dazzle design for a wave-like pattern across the black shirt and will launch it on the Everton store here on 8 August.
The leaks also confirm Everton are sticking with the controversial stylised tower that appeared as the club badge on the third kit last season. The tower, based on the Prince Rupert Tower design featured on the Everton badge for decades, has been used across club communications for the past few years.
It has drawn criticism for its ultra-simplistic design with many fans preferring the more detailed version used by the clubs in the 1980s.
The new kit will be launched on 8 August on the official club store and it will also be on sale on the Castore site. Prices will match those of the new home and away shirt, with standard adult kits priced at £80 and ‘pro’ versions priced at £115.
As with all the shirts this season there will be some available without the Stake.com sponsor. The gambling website is entering the last year of its partnership with the club and is deeply unpopular with fans. Children’s shirts will also be offered without Stake.com sponsor as per Premier League rules.
