Plans for Bramley Moore Stadium’s first takeaway revealed

Stephen Hurrell, June 10, 2025June 10, 2025

The first takeaway serving Evertonians at Bramley Moore Stadium will open directly opposite the stadium, according to a new planning application submitted to Liverpool city council.

An application to open a takeaway at 64 Regent Road has been submitted and it would be the first takeaway to open within the immediate area of Everton’s new stadium for the 2025/26 season.

The application by Parviz Rezaee includes a plan to refurbish the existing shop front and fit a kitchen to serve hot food – although the type of takeaway has not been confirmed. It also includes short stay accommodation on the upper floors of the building for fans who want to stay near the stadium.

The accommodation will be staff-less, which means automated entry to the building using lock boxes.

The application says: “The appearance on the street scene will be as existing on the front elevation. There is a replacement and modernisation of the ground floor shop front. There will also be a extraction/flue element for the cooking facilities to the rear of the property which will rise through the courtyard type space above first floor level.”

The takeaway will open next to three brand new developments directly opposite the stadium. It sits next to the proposed new Old Lady pub, which is being developed by the owners of the Falcon in Kirkby. Further along in the ‘David Rollo’ building the Blue House is a bierkeller-style bar with famous Goodison Park takeaway Hot Wok also serving hot food. A third bar, named The Terrace, will complete the row of new developments.

The new takeaway will not be the only food option for match going fans outside the stadium’s food offering. Heritage Fish and Chips is a short walk from the ground and will serve fish and chips to fans arriving from Sandhills Station.

At the other end of the stadium, Sans Cafe in Vauxhall is a popular Chinese option in the city and will be a major hit with match going fans.
