Scotland vs Ivory Coast at Hill Dickinson: Tickets, hotels, pubs and trains
Scotland have confirmed they will play Ivory Coast in a pre-World Cup friendly at Everton’s stunning waterside Hill Dickinson Stadium.
It will be the first international football game ever played at the new home of Everton FC when the teams play on 28 March at 7.30pm.
Tickets for the game will go on pre sale here on Tuesday 3 February here followed by a general sale on Thursday 5 February. Hospitality tickets will also go on sale on Seat Unique here.
Scotland supporters and Everton members will be given the chance to buy tickets first in the pre sale before general sale. Tickets will cost from £27 for Adults and £16 for Under-16s (plus booking fees).
Fans who are new to Hill Dickinson Stadium can read our stadium ticket guide here. The South Stand is the largest of the options, seating 13,000 fans in the steepest stand in English football. The South Stand also comes with spectacular views of the city and the Liver Building and will be Scotland’s main ‘home end’ for the game.
The West Stand contains much of the hospitality, while the East stand features ‘Club View’, which is a standalone concourse with half way line views.
Fans who are planning to travel from Scotland for the game and stay overnight can book a hotel in Liverpool city centre. The area around the ground has plenty of pubs and bars but does not have many hotels. However, city centre hotels are a short 25 minute walk to the stadium if you choose those near to Moofields Station and the Old Hall Street area of Liverpool.
Visitors can walk from the city centre to the stadium in 25-30 minutes or use the Merseyrail network from Central Station or Moorfields Station. The stadium is one stop from Moorfields and the closest station is Sandhills Station.
Liverpool city centre has hundreds of pubs to choose from. The walk from town to the stadium has plenty of options including the popular fan park-style Ten Streets Social. Closer to the stadium fans can visit The Bluehouse or Terrace Bar directly opposite the stadium, or drink in the Fan Plaza itself.
