St Domingo’s Bar set to open opposite Bramley Moore

Stephen Hurrell, January 24, 2025

Everton fans are set to get a ‘Holy Trinity’ of match day pubs opposite Bramley Moore Stadium after a third application to create a bar in a derelict row of buildings was submitted to Liverpool City Council.

An application from James Williams to covert 66 Regent Road into a bar named St Domino’s Bar has been submitted with a view to transforming the three-storey 19th century warehouse into a place for Evertonians to drink before and after match days.

The bar would form a row of three exciting new venues for Evertonians. 69 Regent Road is already being converted into Terrace Bar, a three-storey pub with a rooftop terrace overlooking the North East corner of Bramley Moore Stadium.

Next to it the large former tyres building, notable for its ‘David Rollo’ sign painted at the top, is being turned into The Bluehouse, a huge Bierkeller-style bar with popular Goodison Park takeaway Hot Wok opening a food kitchen in the rear.

Further along Regent Road, St Domingo’s bar will be the third Everton bar to open on the same small row of buildings at the North end of the stadium, just a few hundred yards from the Bramley Moore Pub towards the South End.

The new bar will retain the original cast metal columns to preserve the warehouse style of the area. The application says the bar will cover ground, first and second floors with interior brick walls will be restored throughout the bar.

It will open at 11am on weekdays and 10am at weekends, with beer served until midnight througout the week and on match days.

The application says the owners have 20 years of running bars and Companies House suggests the applicants are based in the Falcon Pub in Kirkby.

The Terrace, the Bluehouse and the new St Domingos Bar are aiming to open in time for the new Premier League season when Everton move into Bramley Moore. Fans who want to drink before the match will also have the option of drinking in the fan plaza outside the East Stand, the historic Bramley Moore Pub opposite the South East corner of the ground, or inside the stadium itself.

Further South of Bramley Moore and towards the city centre fans will be able to visit Ten Streets Social, a large hall with food and drink available alongside live music and entertainment.
