Everton will launch a light blue kit on Friday 9 May to commemorate the final season at Goodison Park.
The club published a teaser advert for the launch in the match day programme for the Ipswich Town game with a picture of Pantone colour 2717 – a nod to the ‘Cambridge Blue’ shirts worn by Everton in their first season at Goodison Park in 1882.
The advert also features an old Everton badge with stylised EFC initials as worn on previous special edition retro kits.
It will go on sale here on Friday morning.

The advert has sparked rumours the club will drop their traditional Royal Blue shirts for the final fixture at Goodison Park, although there has been no confirmation the kit will actually be worn by the players in an official game.
The absence of kit maker Castore on the advert does hint that it will simply be a commemorative shirt sold by retail partner Fanatics, whose logo does appear on the advert.
The new shirt will go on sale on the Everton store on Friday. You can get it here.
Everton’s first ever shirt was blue and white stripes and was worn by the club in their first season in 1878. It was replaced a couple of years later by a black shirt with a red sash, known as the Black Watch kit.
The light blue shirt was first worn in 1882, although the club also wore light blue and white halves and a pink and white halved shirt during the season. The club moved to the now traditional Royal Blue shirts in 1913 and it has remained the home kit colour ever since.
Everton’s new shirt for the 2025/25 season will be launched in June. Designed by Castore, it will be Royal Blue and will likely feature current unpopular front of shirt sponsor Stake for the club’s first season at Bramley Moore Stadium.
